Office of the Senior Vice-Principal
The Office of the Senior Vice-Principal supports the Senior Vice-Principal (SVP), the Head of University Services, and the Executive Director, Major Projects and coordinates the operation and activities of the Division of the Senior Vice-Principal.
The Office is led by the Senior Vice-Principal, the most senior administrative officer of the University, who provides overarching management in areas of cross functional importance. Of particular importance is overseeing the Division’s planning, budgeting, and reporting activities; and providing leadership for Universitas 21 (U21) matters as Chair of the U21 Managers’ Group.
The Head of University Services is a key member of the Office and is accountable for a coordinated approach to the delivery of university services and is responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of University-wide policy, in relation to those services, is in line with the University’s strategic direction and goals. This is managed through the functional areas of the relevant Divisional Heads.
The Executive Director, Major Projects has overall responsibility for the project planning, coordination and implementation of major University projects and takes a significant leadership role at the executive level in the development, implementation and review of University strategy and major initiatives ensuring alignment with the strategic directions of the University.
