Office of the Senior Vice-Principal
The Office of the Senior Vice-Principal supports the Senior Vice-Principal (SVP) and coordinates the operation and activities of the Division of the Senior Vice-Principal.
The Office is led by the Senior Vice-Principal, the most senior administrative officer of the University, who provides overarching management in areas of cross functional importance. Of particular importance is overseeing the Division’s planning, budgeting, and reporting activities; and providing leadership for Universitas 21 (U21) matters as Chair of the U21 Managers’ Group.
The organisational structure of the Office is detailed below. Click here for a printable version.
Under the direction of Jennifer Mann, OSVP office staff provide support in coordinating the Division's operations. The OSVP has primary responsibility for:
Divisional business planning, budget preparation and monitoring of
financial performance and coordinating the Division's involvement in the
various components of the annual Accountability and Business Planning
Cycle.
Divisional internal and external communications.
Coordinating Divisional reporting to ABAG, Senior Executive and Council,
planning divisional and senior administrators' conferences and managing
the business of the Division.
Coordination of Universitas 21 networking activities.
The OSVP supports the activities of University Programs, which is responsible for leading and coordinating two major areas of University endeavour – achieving a substantial and sustainable increase in discretionary University revenue from new sources; and tangible outcomes for the administrative cost containment projects.
